With multiple wins on the Grand Prix Tour, a Dew Tour win, US Open title, two National titles and his first Olympic appearance in 2014, Taylor Gold is one of the brightest young stars in men’s halfpipe snowboarding. The Colorado native had his start at the age of seven with sister (and fellow professional halfpipe rider) Arielle in Steamboat Springs, CO. The 2013-2014 season was a breakout one for Gold, who won two Olympic qualifiers, securing himself a spot on the U.S. Olympic halfpipe team. Gold is known for his smooth, stylish methods and technical tricks like double Michaelchucks and frontside 1260s.
