At just 16 years old, Gabe Ferguson has made it known that he is a young force to be reckoned with on the competitive circuit. He's also a fun dude to be around, ride with and to watch ride. The younger brother of Ben Ferguson, who is also a member of U.S. Snowboarding, Ben has a lot of fun on his snowboard and it shows.

The 2014 season was Ferguson's breakout season, where he consistently impressed industry icons and judges alike and nearly beat older brother Ben with a sixth place finish at the Burton US Open.

In 2015, Ferguson continued to work his way up the ranks, winning the U.S. Revolution Tour title as well as earning his second invite to the X Games and a sixth-place finish at the final stop of the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix in Park City, UT. Ferguson also earned his first major event win when he and his brother paired up to win the doubles event at the prestigious Red Bull Double Pipe in Aspen.

Continuing his upward track in 2016, Ferguson earned his first Grand Prix podium with a third-place finish at Mammoth Mountain. He finished fifth at X Games Aspen, as well as being invited to compete at X Games Oslo. The future is indeed bright for the youngest of the Ferguson brothers.

      FIRST TRACKS
Ferguson started snowboarding in 2002 when was four years old. He learned at Mt. Bachelor with his dad. He tried skiing for a year before he switched over to snowboarding for good. Of his favorite snowboarding memory so far, he says, “I made it to the finals in the Canadian Open in Calgary, Canada when I was 12. And it was under the lights and my parents got to watch it at home on TV.”

      OFF THE SNOW
In summer you can find Ferguson biking and skateboarding. He also did some skydiving in New Zealand in 2015.
