KITZBUEHEL, Austria (Jan. 20, 2015) – Ski racers call it the Super Bowl of their sport. As an athlete, if there’s one race you want to win, it’s the Hahnenkamm in Kitzbuehel, Austria. This weekend, American ski racing fans will have the broadest TV and streaming coverage ever as the U.S. Ski Team takes to the fabled Streif this Saturday, Jan. 24, for the 75th running of the Hahnenkamm. Universal Sports Network and NBCSN will provide a combination of live and same day broadcast coverage, plus live streaming, to bring ski racing’s most popular event to more fans than ever before.

American ski racing fans will be able to watch the Hahnenkamm downhill and slalom live for the first time ever on Universal Sports Network, as well as a live stream of the entire weekend exclusively on universalsports.com. NBCSN will carry same-day coverage of the Hahnenkamm downhill for the first time. The Audi FIS Ski World Cup stop in Kitzbuehel anchors Universal’s “Winter Bowl III” programming.

Coverage of the Hahnenkamm will feature Universal Sports commentators Steve Porino and Todd Brooker on both Universal Sports and NBCSN.

Universal Sports Network and NBCSN will also cover the famed Night Race in Schladming, Austria on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The races are the final stop on the Audi FIS Ski World Cup tour going into the Feb. 2-15 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek. NBC, NBCSN and Universal Sports Network will team up for daily live coverage from the World Championships.
