HINTERZARTEN, Germany (Dec. 22) – Jessica Jerome (Park City, UT) jumped into the top ten for the second time in two days, finishing ninth at the Hinterzarten World Cup Sunday. World Champion Lindsey Van (Park City, UT) finished 21st, while Sara Takanashi of Japan took her fourth straight win of this World Cup season. The jumpers now head back to the U.S. for the 2014 U.S. Olympic Trials for Ski Jumping Dec. 29 at Utah Olympic Park in Park City, site of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, where the top finisher will secure a spot on the first-ever U.S. Olympic Team for women’s ski jumping. The full Olympic team nominations will be announced Jan. 22.
