BRECKENRIDGE, CO (Dec. 13) – Freeskiing champion Jen Hudak (Park City, UT), six-time X Games medalist and the face of her sport of halfpipe skiing since it burst onto the Olympic stage, is still hopeful for a shot at the Olympic Team following a crash at the Dew Tour on Wednesday. Hudak suffered a torn meniscus and partially torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. She is planning to continue evaluation with Dr. Tom Hackett at The Steadman Clinic in Vail. Hudak hopes that a best-case scenario would have her back on skis for one of the final Olympic qualifying events in January.

QUOTES
Jen Hudak
This wasn’t where I had planned to be at this point. But I want to ensure that I’ve done everything possible to be a part of the dream I’ve had for over a decade. It’s important for me to set an example to others in my sport that you never give up on yourself. I’m approaching this optimistically but also understanding the realities.
