Tess Johnson, who was the youngest moguls athlete to be named to the national team at 14 years old, is already making a name for herself on the freestyle moguls scene. The 2014-15 season was the first year Johnson was eligible for FIS competitions. In that first year, she skied to five top-10 finishes on the NorAm Tour, including two podiums, as well as two top-10 finishes at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships. The young skier continued to progress in 2016 with five NorAm podiums, including two wins to help her secure the Grand Prix title. She closed out the season with a silver medal at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships. Johnson transitioned to the World Cup full time in 2017, landing two top-10 finishes.

FIRST TRACKS
Growing up in Colorado, Johnson took to the snow when she was two years old, skiing with her parents at Vail and Beaver Creek.

OFF THE SNOW
When she's not in the bumps, Johnson plays soccer for Vail Mountain School and likes to go rafting and camping.
