Southern California girl Maddie Mastro put herself on the map with authority in 2016, transitioning from Rev Tour success straight to the finals of elite contests around the world. With a big bag of tricks that includes Haakonflips, cripplers and McTwists, Mastro is just beginning to make her mark on professional snowboarding. The 2014 and 2015 seasons saw Mastro landing on the top of the podium at the U.S. Rev. Tours in Sun Valley, Copper Mountain, and Seven Springs Resort. She also notched a 10th place finish at the Burton US Open. In 2016 she made the finals at the Winter Dew Tour, earned her first X Games invite (she placed seventh at Aspen, fourth at Oslo) and scored podium finishes at both Grand Prix halfpipe events (third at Mammoth, second at Park City). Though Maddie hails from the small resort of Mountain High in Southern California, she now rides on the U.S. Snowboarding team along with the Mammoth Mountain team. FIRST TRACKS OFF THE SNOW |
