Last November, Stratton Mountain School's Libby Gibson found herself sharing a training lane at Vail, CO with Swiss World Cup athletes Fabienne Suter and Andrea Dettling.

Last November, Stratton Mountain School's Libby Gibson found herself sharing a training lane at Vail, CO with Swiss World Cup athletes Fabienne Suter and Andrea Dettling. The lane to her right was the U.S. men's B Team and the women's Development Team to her left. Needless to say, she was a bit nervous. It may have been the only time the rest of the season as she finished second at J2 national championships in and was third among juniors (10th overall) in super G at the Putnam U.S. Alpine Championships at Winter Park, CO to make the U.S. Development Team for 2012. |
