While skiing for the University of Denver, Leever had a great season in slalom. He landed on the college podium twice in the western university races while gaining his first NorAm top 10 and a 4th place, just off the podium, at U.S. Alpine Championships. He also had the chance to go to Spain for the World University Games and Norway for the World Junior Championships. He plans to continue to push forward in slalom and try to carry the GS along with it.

FIRST TRACKS
Leever started skiing in Vail, CO when he was just two years old. He would ride in the backseat while his father and brother would go skiing every day...complaining that he wanted to go skiing as well. Finally, his parents came home one day and strapped some old skis to his feet and pushed him down the driveway. That was Leever's first experience with skiing, and he's been traversing the trails at Vail ever since.

OFF THE SNOW
Leever is a full-time student at the University of Denver during the school year. He's a finance major and hopes to graduate in Spring of 2017. Along with that, he enjoys soccer, biking, and learning new things at DU.
